The Startup You Don’t Want
Pretty sure these guys never participated in a Startup Weekend. They would have known, you only have a minute to pitch. It’s also generally a bad move to change your idea midway. Enjoy College Humor’s sendup of the startup frenzy.
Startup Weekend Corvallis Postponed
Like the startup companies we help create, success often comes down to how well you pivot. It was a difficult decision, but the Startup Weekend Corvallis event is pivoting, postponing the event until mid-Summer. Although we attracted some incredible sponsors, speakers, mentors, and judges, the same wasn’t true for ticket sales. And without a good group of participants, it’s just not Startup Weekend.
So keep an eye on the site and our Facebook page for updates. And be ready to bring the innovation this summer!
